The

The Securities Industry Awards
were introduced in 1999 to commend companies and individuals who provide
services to companies operating within the Securities Industry. The Awards,
which have increased in popularity over the years, are determined by an
independent panel of judges from nominations made online, mostly from user
firms.

trading platform. While CMC Markets has expanded and now offers CFDs and
Financial Spread Betting, the commitment and faithfulness to the original vision
remains rock-solid. CMC Markets' success is attributed to a company-wide goal:
the creation of advantage for customers through product and technical
innovation.

Peter
Cruddas, Chairman and Chief Executive of CMC Markets said “We are pleased to
support these Awards, particularly as they acknowledge excellence with systems.
CMC Markets recognise the value of efficient systems and have invested £100
million in ensuring state of the art applications for our rapidly expanding
global client base”.
Stephen
Pinner, Managing Director of Summerson Goodacre said “We have again seen a
substantial increase in the number of nominations for these Awards which are
highly respected within the Industry. Systems companies are under constant
pressure to ensure that their products and services are kept in line with the
changing needs of users and significant regulatory changes demanded by MiFID. It
is fitting that firms are recognised in this way for their contributions and
support for the Financial Services Industry”.
Baroness
Goudie, a Trustee of the Piggy Bank Kids charity hosted the presentation
ceremony. A silent auction was also held for a very large and collectable
porcelain piggy bank which raised £5,000 for the charity.
