This was the first year that the Lifetime Achievement Award has been presented, and Clay Harris opened his remarks by saying it was impossible to honour the winner without stating his name within the first few sentences.

It therefore wasn't long before the 116 guests were applauding Brian Winterflood as the winner of the Lifetime Achievement Award.
